I wrote a brief essay about the travel aspect of the trip.  Here&#8217;s an excerpt:<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"http:\/\/www.gonomad.com\/destinations\/1009\/bodrum-images\/dive.jpg\" align=\"left\" width=\"240\" \/> En route to my room, I passed two swimming pools (three if you include the children&#8217;s pool), a giant chess set, a marble pool-side bar, a clay tennis court, lush gardens, and as much polished stone as I&#8217;d ever encountered outside Washington, DC.
