I am a graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, Stanford University’s School of Engineering, and U.S. Army Ranger School. I am a six-year veteran of the U.S. Army. I recently returned to Iowa City after a year in Ukraine as a Fulbright Scholar.
